This wheel-thrown vase is made from a light stoneware clay and carved by hand. The vase is glazed in a deep turquoise oribe with bands of carbon trapping and flecks of crystallization scattered throughout. It was fired in the salt chamber of a wood-burning kiln and is entirely unique. Handmade in Pennsylvania by Resist Ceramics.
